This website will give you a chance to find out more about this clinical research opportunity and how you and your child may get involved. The aim of these clinical studies is to see if children with ADHD sleep better while taking this investigational study drug and to find out what side effects they may have when taking it.

Children and teens with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) often have problems sleeping (insomnia). This is called ADHD-related insomnia.

Lack of sleep can affect how your child feels during the day.

Although drugs are available to treat adult sleep problems, there are currently no approved drugs available to treat children with ADHD who are having problems sleeping.

Clinical research opportunity

Two clinical research studies are being conducted to test whether an investigational study drug already approved for treating sleep problems in adults (ages 18 and over) can also safely and effectively be used in an investigational use to help children (ages 6-17) with ADHD who have sleep problems.

These clinical research studies involve children and teens ages 6-17 years who are diagnosed with ADHD and have been experiencing sleep problems.

Your child may qualify to take part if they have problems falling asleep or staying asleep during the night.
